Jacob Ver Beek began his journey with VAFAIRS as an intern while completing his Agribusiness degree at Virginia Tech, graduating in December 2023. He was then hired as a VAFAIRS Specialist and before being promoted to Financial Analyst in 2024. In his role as Financial Analyst, Jacob delivers in-depth financial analysis and strategic guidance to VAFAIRS clients, helping them assess business performance, identify funding opportunities, and make informed, data-driven decisions. He also leads outreach efforts by producing public research studies that address key issues affecting agricultural producers across the state, supporting evidence-based decision-making and industry awareness.
